In addition to the production of prototypes and pilot series, the focus is on the realization of the ramp-up phases to series implementation in medium and high quantities at an early stage of product development and injection molding technology. By medium quantities we mean an annual requirement from 20,000 units and for high quantities from 150,000 units upwards.
The purchased parts and special components to be manufactured, as provided for in the development parts list, are coordinated by our materials management department during the order process. With regard to on-time availability, these are considered within the framework of obsolescence management. This enables us to react to changes in good time.
If changes or improvements in the planned and specified production processes are pending, the series management department, which is part of the manufacturing management, becomes active. This department evaluates the changes in terms of improvement for process capability or work plan changes and, if necessary, initiates the change process, which is then communicated to the customer in good time.
Our warehouse and logistics area controls the provisioning of the requirements planned in the production planning. Our monitor for production is the production control station. This creates a transparent flow of information within the production areas.
