We manufacture our flow sensors from thermoplastics using injection molding. A common measuring method is the calorimetric measuring principle. We optimally position the two measuring resistors, a heating resistor and a temperature measuring point, using the freely selectable design of our merkapSOR solutions. The evaluation of the measurement results can be done directly on a PCB (Printed Circuit Board), which is built into the sensor. It is well known that plastics are poor heat conductors. We change the thermal conductivity of the thermoplastics in the temperature sensor by modification in such a way that they become good to very good thermal conductors and replace metallic sensor constructions as required. In addition to the calorimetric measuring principle, we can also process sensors based on the ultrasonic measuring principle. Electrical contacting to the customer environment is achieved by injection molding integration and mapping of the familiar connector systems.
